Boxing is not only a great sport, which is increasingly becoming popular these days, it is also offers a complete fitness workout. A lot of fitness programs these days now include boxing classes for both men and women. In fact, many women, particularly those eager to lose weight, enlist in fitness boxing classes. Train your body with an electrical treadmill
Fancy trying out and purchasing an electrical treadmill? The main difference between an electrical treadmill and a non electrical one is that one uses electricity but the other does not! The good thing about the electric treadmills is that they come with more complex options. For example, such electrical treadmills would have various training programs for you to choose from to suit your own individual needs. In addition, some are so high tech that they can even vary the incline of your course depending on the training program. Then there are those which will be able to record your heart rate and other useful measurements such as calories burnt distance ran etc. All in all, an electrical treadmill really provides much more options compared to the non electrical one. In contrast, if you get a non electric treadmill, it is more a no frills treadmill that will just allow you to run at a point at home. So to compare both types of treadmills, which is the one which you would prefer?
In today’s article, I would also like to introduce to you this bowflex series 7 electric treadmill. This is a fairly high end electric treadmill and quite steep in price as well. So I actually recommend that only those more professional athletes and those who know what they want they buy an exercise treadmill to purchase such a more high end treadmill. With a good treadmill at home, you can be guaranteed of better customer service and more durability of the machine. Not to mention that the treadmill comes with more useful features such as tracking your heart rate etc as well as the various different training programs that you can try out. This treadmill is a must buy for those who are willing to spend more on exercise equipment and those who are more professional and know what kind of training programs they want.
The Sport Of Walking
Is walking really a sport? I mean, there is an Olympic event that is basically really fast walking, so I suppose if you consider all things Olympic to be sports then sure walking is a sport. But to me no not so much. Walking is more of an activity. And a pretty good one actually. For many people it’s one of the few activities they participate in on a regular basis. And that’s a good thing, since I’m a firm believer in exercise and physical activity. I must say though, that I’m not looking forward to the day when I have to slap on some pedometer and go for my daily walk since it’s the only exercise I’m capable of. Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with pedometers, it’s just the thought of not being able to exert myself more than just a good walk is a little depressing.
I’m actually one of those workout fanatics that get a little bummed if I’m not doing something physical at least once during the day. Sometimes it’s sport, sometimes it’s yoga, sometimes it’s playing squash, or sometimes it’s just pushing some iron around. Either way, I’m addicted to all of it. You could say I’m a bit of an endorphin junkie. But, hey it’s good for you. As long as I’m doing something active, then I know I’m not just lazin’ around and eating junk food. That would be a double whammy when it comes to this middle age body. And, if it means someday that all I do is walk a few times around the block, then so be it.
