The Benefits of Camping Espagne

Camping espagne, i.e. camping in Spain, can be a truly wonderful experience for the whole family for any time of year.   Many individuals enjoy camping more in the cold winter season as they find it more adventuresome and exciting and there are so many places to visit and explore.  With all the proper camping equipment and gear as well as advanced preparation, you need not fear the cold Spanish clime but can partake of the beauties of the season in comfort and safety.

Camping in Spain brings with it so many additional activities to try and enjoy.  Amongst these are backpacking along mountain trails, horseback riding, kayaking, swimming in refreshing lake waters, fishing, and enjoying a variety of winter sports.  If you are part of a special packaged camping program or tour, you and your children can partake of any number of  pre-planned activities available as part of your package.

Probably one of the most memorable times of camping will be huddling around your tents at night telling stories and then sleeping under a blanket of stars for the first time, or helping to start a roaring campfire in the morning to cook breakfast or “brunch” in the “wild outdoors.”  These are experiences so few individuals today have  partaken of, making the venture even more appealing and attractive to try.

There are also a wide variety of skills and abilities that can be learned through camping that makes this sport a worthwhile one to pursue.  In addition to learning how to build and extinguish outdoor fires safely, there are outdoor cooking skills, first aid skills, skills in handling knives, environmental protection, learning the use and care of camping equipment and gear.  Though most people choose camping for the pure enjoyment, there is also much that can be learned from the experience that can benefit you in other areas of your life.

Target offers seats that are described as padded folding chairs, outdoor folding chairs, and aluminum folding chairs.

Walmart has a various selection of camping chairs that come in many forms, including adult and child sizes. Their selection is also offered online or in store. The affordable prices that can be found here, make it enjoyable to spend our hard earned money.

Amazon.com is a website that allows people to buy their wants or needs without ever leaving the comfort of their home. Camping chairs such as the popular Super Deluxe Sky Hanging Air Chair-Hammock Swing with Pillow, make nature more comforting due to the fact that you hang it and relax. A good sturdy tree limb is needed to accomplish this, but nature has many of these if you just look.

Kmart has a range of camping chairs that have cloth overhangs that allow your face to be blocked away from the harsh rays of the sun. These chairs are popular among the younger generations and the older generations. The amount and price of name brand products that are sold everyday are indeed a steal when one takes the time to research and realize what so many other stores are selling the same chairs for.

Coleman.com is a site that shows customers how many different types of camping chairs are available. Their chairs range from sling chairs to stadium seat chairs. The comfort in which these chairs can provide, while away from home, make living outdoors seem healthier for a person. The nature that surrounds us all, can be much more enjoyable if the right seating is brought.

Buying a Mountain Tent for Serious Expeditions

If you’re planning on climbing high mountains, then you need to be darned sure that you have a mountain tent that is as tough as the conditions you’re likely to meet. The last thing you want to experience at 7,500 meters in the Himalayas or on a deadly mountain such as K2 is to have your tent blown down or broken. So here are a couple of tips to help you find the right sort of expedition tent for your next big adventure.

The first thing you need to do is look only at tents that are specifically rated as expedition tents. In some circumstances you can get away with what is known as a 4-season tent, but to be honest the difference in price and weight between an expedition tent vs a 4-season one is not so great, so you may as well go for the tougher option. Do not fool yourself into thinking that a lightweight tarp or even a bivvy bag will be enough to keep you warm. An emergency bivouac bag can save your life if you are stranded away from your tent, but it would be madness to expect to rely on one as your main source of shelter since you won’t have nearly enough space to fire up your cooker to melt snow for drinking water. Without water, your days on the mountain will be limited indeed.

The next big decision you need to make is between going for a single-walled tent or a double walled tent. A few years back there was not such luxury. All tents had two walls (apart, that is, from the cheap knock offs that you could use for backyard camping and nothing else). These days there are breathable and waterproof fabrics that are strong and light. Using a single-walled tent can cut the weight you have to carry by almost half to about 2.5 kilograms from about 4.5 kg or so for a traditional double-walled tent. The downside is that you will pay more and should probably not expect it to last as long. If you are an elite mountaineer, have a gear manufacturer sponsoring you, are planning a solo or are just rich then this is a good choice. For the rest of us it probably means humping a heavier mountain tent along in our back packs.

How To Pick a Good Campsite

When you go camping, the campsite that you pick can have a huge influence on your camping experience. If you end up with rocky or sloped ground, you won.t sleep well. If you end up downwind from the bathrooms, your trip will œstink. Here.s what you should look for when picking out a good place to camp.

Your main priority should always be the quality of the ground in the campsite. What I mean by that is you need to good spot to pitch your tent. If you end up with a lot of sticks, rocks or other hard objects, you are likely to damage your tent (and your back.) Read the rest of this entry »

Hot Weather Camping

I have to admit – although I love going camping and will jump at almost any opportunity to spend a week in the woods, hot weather is not my favorite time to go camping. Cold weather camping isn’t so bad to me, as there are things you can do to alleviate the cold temperatures, but there’s not a whole lot you can do in hot weather. You’re pretty much just going to be hot, and that’s part of why it’s not my favorite time to go camping. That said, however, summer is often a very convenient time to go camping since the kids are out of school and lots of people are taking vacation anyway, so let’s take a look at some strategies to make camping in hot weather more enjoyable.
