I love biking. It’s actually, a great compliment to my other activities (mostly playing too much squash). One of the great things about biking, is that it’s a great cardio workout, that doesn’t involve a lot of impact. It’s great when were vacationing out in the country, to just slip on my Shimano R315 shoes jump on the bike and burn down the country road for a few miles. Heading out first thing in the morning is my favorite, since it’s so quiet and the sun hasn’t hit it’s peak. I usually head off east for the first loop of the circuit, then head west for the return trip home. That way, I pick up the morning breeze coming off the lake. It’s great to stay a little cool as my workout nears it’s end. Then with all that extra cardio work, I know I’m gonna be that much better off when I hit the squash courts back home during the week.
